onion peelers

This was another digital painting I did recently. Finished this the other week but I have been busy so I havent posted it. Heres the progression.

I started doing just working out the values in black and white, mainly because the source image was black and white. I believe I used a color overlay layer to add the color. The final color needed some adjustments on a different layer just painting over top of the whole document here and there where needed. The background was not part of the original image.
