Instagram post- stop motion armature

I'm designing an armature for a character I thought up a while ago. While I don't have a specific short I plan on filming with it, I'm excited to build this puppet.

Switching Gears

Well its been 3 years since I have posted to this blog. Shortly after the last blog post I left Tired Hands Brewery, unsatisfied with my experiences in the brewing industry. There's really no reason to go into details so I'll keep this post short because no one reads this anyway. Up until this point the blog has been mainly focused on cider and beer. Well, no longer is that the case. Beer and cider wasn't all I did; I always did a lot of other random things, and now I'll be posting some of that on here. I still make cider for fun every year, and that will still likely end up on here also. I feel like I need a blog now, and it just seems stupid to start a brand new one because the old one had a bunch of brewing stuff on it.

Peche Lambic

Today at Tired Hands I did the same thing I did yesterday. More digging. The french drain along the building is almost done. After that comes the ADA sidewalk.

At home Ashley and I cracked a bottle of Tyler Flynn's Peche Lambic. Fantastic. The dregs of this go on top of those berries I mentioned in an earlier post. I have a feeling  the lactobacillus will win the race second pitch around. Thanks Tyler!

More Details

 At Tired Hands Brewing Co:

Adam Goodwin and Colin McFadden were busy finding lots of detail work to make the place look pretty. Colin is finishing up one of our chalkboards in the picture on the right.

Those other horrible pictures are me getting our ADA entrance ready for opening. Some drainage, some proper grading of the sidewalk etc.

At home:
Some wild black raspberries that Ashley and I picked last year and had frozen are about to be put to good use. Thawed, mashed, and yeast pitched. Update on that coming soon

Bloodroot

Bloodroot with a rolling boil
The Tired Hands 1st floor bar
Bloodroot was the brew yesterday at Tired Hands Brewing Co. Another brew day for Jean. I believe its batch number 18?
The day before was spent coating the 1st floor bar with a heavy duty two part epoxy. Overall I would say it was a successful experiment. The project yesterday for me was digging a trench for a french drain along side the building. The fun never ends...
